The “Why” Behind Our Brand: A Story of Love and a Fast Eater

  • Milo was Every meal was a race he had to win, ending in coughs, discomfort, and that worried look in his eyes.

  • I tried everything: spreading food on plates, using puzzle toys not made for meals, even hand-feeding him. Nothing felt quite right. The products I found were either flimsy, clinical, or simply not designed with lovein mind—they solved a problem but forgot the joy.

  • I started sketching, prototyping, and learning—not just as a pet owner, but as a determined student of animal behavior and product design.

  • The first slow feeder I carved from wood was clumsy, but when Milo used it, he looked up at me mid-meal, tail wagging slowly. It wasn’t a race anymore. It was an experience. That moment of connection, of shared peace, was our real proof of concept.
